The Contractor handling the construction of Model School (1) in Daura area of Katsina State, North -West Nigeria, Bamzy Limited has assured the federal government that the project will be completed April next year going by the fast pace of the work.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO), of the company, Alhaji Yakubu Umar Zandam, disclosed this to newsmen in Daura, saying that Bamzy Limited is committed for quality and standard work which is part of the company’s policies.
According to him, the contract for the construction of Model School in Daura was awarded last year by the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC ), which is now reached 70 per cent completion.Alhaji Yakubu Umar, also assured the commission that the project will be completed by April 2021, before the dateline given to the company.
The Model school is representing the seven states from the north -West states of Nigeria, as part of the federal government efforts to improved the quality and standard of Education in the country.When going round to see the project with journalist’s by the company’s project manager Alhaji Murtala Mohammad said the model school would consist of primary and junior secondary sections, adding that the components of the school include classrooms, laboratories, libraries, multi-purpose staff room, offices, clinics, playground, toilets, assembly ground and cafeteria all will be equipped with state-of-the-art ICT device.
A source at the UBEC office Abuja said the projects is part of the efforts of Buhari’s administration towards improving the quality of basic education in the country.
The managing Director, applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for his contributions to the development of education in Nigeria, adding that Bamzy Limited will continue doing its best in constructing quality projects.
