VGN Officer Commends Bakori Led Leadership For Sanitizing Organisation’s Activities



A member of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN) from Kano State, Muktar Abdullahi Ungogo has said that the Commander-General of the organisation, Navy Captain A. B. Umar Bakori is working seriously towards restoration of the group in order to meet the global standards.

Muktar Ungogo disclosed this in a chat with our correspondent in Kano, adding that VGN is now under the authentic leadership of Navy Captain Bakori who has been in the organisation for long, and has knowledge of almost all the problems affecting the group, and struggling to ensure that it is working selflessly in assisting the Nigerian  security agencies  in the fight against insecurity in the country.

Ungogo who is also an intelligence officer of the group, hinted that, ” Bakori is a well known personality who worked in the Nigerian Navy for a long time before making decision to contribute to the progress of this nation voluntarily like what is been seen nowadays, and I am certain that VGN under his stewardship would continue to assist security agents across Nigeria,” He said.

In conclusion, the officer commended the members of the group at both urban and rural settlements who work voluntarily to ensure that there is peace and unity among residents.

He called on the states and federal government to provide more working materials like vehicles, communication equipment, logistics and signing of the VGN bill into law.
