CRC-N Charges Church Leaders To Train Farmers On Product Management

The Christian Reformed Church Nigeria CRC-N, has directed church leaders to speak out against rampant disposal of harvested farm produce and enlighten their members on the need to store their farm produce against the next raining season.
 They also called on them to apply wisdom on the way and manner they sell off their food products.
The church stated iits position in a six-point communique issued by the CRC-N President, Rev.Dr.Caleb Ahima and General Secretary, Rev. Sargaga Nuvalga at the end of its 120th Synod held in Takum Local Government’ Area of Taraba State.
The communique expressed fears that things might get worst next year as there is prediction of food scarcity. 
It declared that CRC-N is a multi-tribal church and God’s detribalised assembly, pointed out that it has many and diverse cultures and it is a body of one people in faith, hope and love.
The communique also observed that it is an error for the church to be identified as a Jukun church, urging the society to shun wrong notion as tribe is inconsequential and the church is concerned about preparing it members of Christ return.
On the climate change, the church expressed sadness over continued deforestation, which it said is responsible for global warming and the destruction of Earth’s resources.
It however, admonished members of the society to view themselves as stewards of God’s creation and everyone will account for his stewardship.
The communique further observed with dismay on the growing absence adherence to the Covid-19 protocols by the people, despite the fact that the pandemic is still ravaging the global communities and suggested for strict adherence to the preventive measures.dekeradootar
