Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 110 New Cases, Total 67,330

Ten states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja were infected with 110 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) on Saturday November 28, 2020.
Details of the COVID-19-attacked states are: Lagos 26, FCT 23, Kaduna 20, Katsina 11, Ogun 7, Ekiti 6, Plateau 5, Rivers 4, Kano 3, Nasarawa 3 and Niger 2.
On Saturday, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced on its twitter handle that as of 11.14 p.m. on 28th November 2020 Nigeria had been infested with a total of 67,330 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic since the index case occurred in the country.
Out of the total, 62,819 persons who tested positive for the worldwide disease had been treated and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,171 people had lost their lives to the virus during the period under review.
The virus did not kill anyone in Nigeria on Saturday.
In furtherance of its COVID-19 update yesterday, the Nigerian disease control agency said: “Our discharges today include 70 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.”
