It was encomium galore at the headquarters of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) on Thursday as the Service celebrates Mr. Livingstone Amadi, an Assistant Comptroller General, retired after a meritorious 35 years of service.
Speaking at the occasion, the Comptroller General Muhammadu Babandede described him as dedicated, goal getter and resourceful officer.
Amadi, a seasoned and one of the best officers ever produced by NIS, Babandede said he served meritoriously and left with good report.
In a release by the Service Public Relations Officer, James Sunday for the Comptroller General, Amadi was also described as a cerebral and valuable officer, whose contribution in all command he worked speaks volume.
The release reads ” The Nigeria Immigration Service celebrates with one of its senior officer that meritoriously served and retired after 35 years of service. ACG Livingstone Amadi a season and one of the best officers was acknowledged by the Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service Muhammad Babandede MFR as a dedicated, goal getter and resourceful officer, who served meritoriously and left with good report.
