Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: Kaduna Leads In 169 New Cases, Total 66,974

In Nigeria, 169 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) attacks were confirmed on Thursday November 26, 2020.
The global pandemic was detected in eleven states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja. Their names and number of infections are as follows: Kaduna 74, FCT 42, Lagos 17, Kano 8, Ogun 6, Oyo 6, Rivers 6, Ekiti 3, Bauchi 3, Katsina 2, Delta 1 and Ondo 1.
As of 12.17 a m. on November 27, 2020, Nigeria had recorded a total of 66,974 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the index case was reported in the country.
Out of the total, 62,585 cases had been treated and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,169 persons had been killed in Nigeria by the worldwide disease during the period under review.

The virus killed nobody in the country on Thursday.
In its update on the virus which was published on its twitter handle, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) declared: “Our discharges today (Thursday) include 74 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.”
