The graduating students of the Air Force Comprehensive School (AFCS) Kano, have described the school as the most conducive learning academy established by the Nigerian Air Force authorities in order to give sound education at the grassroots levels.
Speaking to our correspondent at the recent graduation ceremony which was held at the Air Marshal MD Umar Hall of the school, the graduating students said that, “We received good training and orientation during our stay at the school, where our teachers encourage us under polite manner to acquire better results as students”.
One of the prize winners, due to academic performance, Mohammed Abdullahi Sani stressed that Kano Air Force Comprehensive School has been a very good place of learning where discipline, dedication patriotism and equal treatment is given to all students in order to achieve goals and objectives of the main reasons for the establishment of the schools.
He commended the school’s Commandant, Squadron Leader E.J. Ichimi for his excellent administration and good treatment to students, and thanked their teachers, non teaching staff and the security personnel that are attached to the school that enabled them to feel that they were at home and well secured till the end of their stay.
Similarly, another graduand, Aliyu Muhammad Zarewa disclosed that, “Our stay at AFCS Kano has added more advantage to our academic pursuit because we received good training and educational background that would certainly enable us to further our future academic pursuit at both domestic and international institutions”.
The ceremony was planned in a colourful but low key event respecting the COVID-19 pandemic regulations by observing social distancing, while the special guests invited, graced the occasion despite their tight schedules, witnessing the graduation respectively.
