Police Apprehends Four Armed Robbery Suspects, Recovers Arms, Ammunition

Police operatives have arrested four suspected armed robbers in Lagos, with arms and ammunition recovered from them.
Our correspondent gathered that the suspects were apprehended by operatives attached to Alakuko Division, with the help of some members of the community at about 12.00 midnight on November 24, 2020.
The police public relations officer SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi while confirming the report, identified the suspects as Suleman Babajide, 26, Mustapha Michael,25, Daniel Gideon,23 and Olalekan Adeshina, 26.
In a release made available to newsmen in Lagos, the police alleged that the suspects have been terrorising and dipossessing residents of AMJE Bus Stop, Ajegunle, Masalasi and Dalemo communities in Alakuko Area of Lagos State of their belongings. 
The release reads, “In another development, the police operatives attached to Alakuko Station, with the help of members of some communities, arrested four (4) suspected armed robbers on 24th November, 2020 at about 12am. 
The suspects have been terrorising and dipossessing residents of AMJE Bus Stop, Ajegunle, Masalasi and Dalemo communities in Alakuko Area of Lagos State of their belongings. 
One locally-made pistol with 4 life cartridges was recovered from them. The suspected armed robbers included SULEIMAN BABAJIDE, m, 26, MUSTAPHA MICHAEL,m, 25, DANIEL GIDEON, m, 23 and OLALEKAN ADESINA, m, 26.
The Commissioner of Police has ordered that the suspects be transferred to State CID, Panti, for thorough investigation, while he charged other police stations and operatives in the command to make Lagos unconducive for criminals and miscreants to operate or hybernate particularly during the ember months”.
