Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 198 New Cases, Total 66,805

There were 198 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria on Wednesday November 25, 2020.
The new COVID-19 infections were discovered in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja and twelve states of the country.

The affected places are: FCT 53, Lagos 48, Ogun 40, Akwa Ibom 20, Bauchi 9, Plateau 8, Kaduna 5, Kano 4, Benue 3, Jigawa 3, Nasarawa 3, Edo 1 and Kwara 1.


As of 11.15 p.m. on 25th November 2020 Nigeria had reported having a total of 66,805 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic since the index case occurred in the country.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced on its twitter handle that out of the total, 62,493 COVID-19-infected patients had been treated and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,169 deaths caused by the worldwide virus had been recorded in the nation.


No person was killed by the disease in Nigeria on Wednesday.
