Zamfara State Youth Forum, a NGO has described the emergence of Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani as the new Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) state chairman as well deserved and in consonance with the federal government’s not too young to run policy.
This was disclosed by the forum’s chairman, Comrade Abba Muhammad Gusau in an interview with journalists in Gusau.
He commended governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle and entire state PDP elders caucus for unanimous decision to select Danfulani as the new chairman of PDP in the state, as he is a patriotic youth who has contributed immensely for the development of youth and PDP in Zamfara state.
“We must commend governor Matawalle and entire state PDP caucus of elders for resolving this issue amicably without any rancor,” he said.
The forum chairman called on the entire members of the PDP in the state particularly the youths to always remain law abiding and support the new leadership of Danfulani for the party to victorious during the 2023 general election in the state.
“The forum will always remain committed to the enlightening members and supporters of the PDP and general public about good policies and programmes of Matawalle in order to enable him provide more basic necessities of life that have direct impact on the entire people of the state,” he said.
It would be recalled that the former PDP Zamfara state chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Mallaha died on 12th October in German hospital after protracted sickness.
