Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: Kaduna Leads, 56 New Cases Recorded, Total 66,439

There were 56 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria on Monday 23rd November 2020.
Nine states and the Federal Capital Territory FCT Abuja were infected with COVID-19 pandemic in the country on Tuesday.

They are: Kaduna 18, FCT 17, Lagos 6, Plateau 5, Kano 3, Kwara 2, Yobe 2, Ekiti 1, Niger 1 and Rivers 1.
As of 11.09 p.m. on 23rd November 2020 Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) had recorded a total of 66,439 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic since the index case was reported in the country.
Out of the total, 62,241 cases had been treated and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres,  while 1,168 people had been killed in the country by the worldwide virus during the period under review.
One person was killed by COVID-19 in Nigeria on Tuesday.
