Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 246 New Cases, Total 66,228

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 246 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Saturday, 21st November 2020.
The new COVID-19 cases were found in ten states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja as follows: Lagos 66, Plateau 63, FCT 48, Kaduna 21, Bayelsa 19, Rivers 12, Niger 9, Ogun 4, Ekiti 2, Bauchi 1 and Osun 1.
In its daily update on the pandemic, NCDC reported on its twitter account that as of 11.12 p.m. on Saturday 21st November 2020 Nigeria had been infected with a total of 66,228 confirmed cases of the worldwide virus.
Out of the total, 61,884 COVID-19-positive patients had been treated and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,166 patients had died of COVID-19-related cases during the period under review.
According to NCDC figures, COVID-19 killed one person in the country on Saturday.
