Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 143 New Cases, Total 65,982

In Nigeria, 143 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) attacked nine states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Friday 20th November 2020.
Names of areas infected by the new cases of the worldwide disease in the nation are: Lagos 70, Kaduna 25, FCT 22, Ogun 11, Plateau 4, Oyo 4, Ekiti 3, Osun 2, Edo 1 and Kano 1.
As of 11.16 p.m. on 20th November 2020, Nigeria had been infested with a total of 65,982 confirmed cases of the pandemic since the index case occurred in the country.
Out of the total, 61,782 cases had been treated and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,165 deaths arising from the virus had been recorded in Nigeria during the period under review, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported on its twitter platform on Friday.
COVID-19 caused no death in Nigeria yesterday.
