Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 146 New Cases, Total 65,839

Ten states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja of Nigeria were on Thursday 19th November 2020 infected with 146 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
These are the names of the affected places as released by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday: Lagos 62, FCT 23, Kaduna 21, Ogun 12, Rivers 12, Ondo 5, Oyo 3, Plateau 3, Bauchi 2, Katsina 2 and Kano 1.
As of 11.13 p.m. on 19th November 2020 Nigeria reported having a total of 65,839 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic since the index case occurred in the country.
Out of the total, 61,573 cases had been treated and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,165 patients suffering from the worldwide virus had died in the nation during the period under review, NCDC stated on its twitter handle on Thursday.
The disease killed two people in Nigeria on Thursday.
“Our discharges today include 85 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines,” the Nigerian disease control agency said on Thursday.
