Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State has been called upon to extend its good gesture been done in other parts of the state to Narayi in terms of roads construction to ease the suffering of the people of that area.
The call was make by the District Head of Narayi, Mr. Sule Sarki Garba in an interview with our reporter, saying that the road network in the area is very bad with only Shagari to Bayan Dutse road to boast of.
According to him, the only road leading to Narayi is narrow and needs to be expanded, while other roads are in bad shape.
“Other roads like Narayi Road, Zaria and Kujama roads linking with other areas such as Bayan Dutse among others are in bad shape.
“Whenever there is traffic on Shagari Road, there is no alternative road one can break through to the other side,” he lamented.
“I am calling on the government to please consider us, we are his people, we know the work he is doing which is making a lot of impact to the people and he is touching the lives of humanity, this gesture should be extended to our area,” he pleaded.
In the area of peace, the District Head said there are different tribes in Narayi and titles have been given to people from almost all the tribes in order to foster peaceful coexistence in the area.
He however, called on the people in Narayi to be law abiding at all time as well as embrace peace among one another.
