Kaduna Deputy Governor Admonishes Inaugurated Committee On Youth, Civil Societies To Ensure Commitment In Scheme Of Things



The Acting Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, on Wednesday admonished the newly inaugurated Committee on Youth and Civil Societies of great commitment in scheme of things in the country.

Dr. Hadiza Balarabe expressed this during the inauguration of the committee held at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House in Kaduna.

The committee chaired by the Emir of Zazzau, will serve as a platform for engagement between the governments of the 19 northern states and the youth of the region.

The Acting Governor, welcomed them to Kaduna State, saying: “We are honoured to receive you here. Your being here is a fall out of the delebrations and directives of NEC  which was chaired by the Vice President of this country.”

According to her, their expectations from the committee and the need for them  to forestal future occurences of what happened cannot be overemphasized.

“You are the youth, you are the future of this country, and you hold a very dear and great role in the scheme of things within this country,” she admonished.

She explained the need to ensure that they have dialogue at all times.

“We should have constructive engagement at all points in time,” she said.

The Acting Governor  prayed and hoped that, the terms of reference of the committee will be easy for them to deliver.

The Acting Governor received the Chairman of the Nothern Governors’ Forum, HE Simon Bako Lalong, Hon. Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Talen and HRH the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamali.
