Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 152 New Cases, Total 65,148

In Nigeria, there were 152 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) distributed in seven states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Sunday November 15, 2020.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) listed the infected places in this order: Lagos 136, Kano 4, Niger 3, Ekiti 2, Kaduna 2, Ogun 2, Taraba 2 and FCT 1.
As of 11.16 p.m. on 15th November 2020, Nigeria had recorded a total of 65,148 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic since the index case was reported in the country, NCDC announced on its twitter handle on Sunday.
Out of the total, 61,073 persons who tested positive for the worldwide virus had been treated and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,163 deaths resulting from the disease had occurred in Nigeria during the period under review.
COVID-19 did not cause any death in Nigeria on Sunday.
