Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja and fourteen states of Nigeria were infected with 112 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Saturday 14th November 2020.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said the following areas were attacked by pandemic: FCT Abuja 27, Oyo 27, Bayelsa 9, Rivers 9, Delta 7, Edo 5, Kaduna 5, Ogun 5, Anambra 3, Katsina 3, Ondo 3, Osun 3, Plateau 3, Niger 2 and Kano 1.
In its daily account of COVID-19 infection, NCDC disclosed on its twitter handle that as of 11.41 p.m. on 14th November 2020 Nigeria had recorded a total of 64,996 confirmed cases of the worldwide virus since the index case occurred in the country.
Out of the total, 61,029 cases of the disease had been treated and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,163 people who were afflicted with the ailment had died in the nation during the period under review.
Nigeria lost no live to COVID-19 on Saturday.
