Outgoing National President Commends, NAWOJIANS For Successful Tenure


The Outgoing National Chairperson, NAWOJ, Ifeyinwa Omowole, on Saturday has commended every single NAWOJIAN who stood for her successful tenure.
The National President stated this during her valedictory speech at the International Conference Centre Minna, Niger State.
Mrs Ifeyinwa Omowole who has held  the National President position for two terms, cited her achievements in training and retraining women, stressing that, “with or without Ifeyinwa the training still stands.”
She urged the incoming president to be ready to work hard.
In an opening remarks, Niger State chairperson, Mary Noel-Berje  welcomed every woman from the 36 states to the 10th Triennial Delegates Conference.
She expressed her gratitude to the state Governor for supporting NAWOJ to hold its conference in the state.
Mary said female journalists from 36 states converged on the state to hold elections, which comes up every three years for a change and to create a platform that will unite women from various states.
The chairperson acknowledged the national president, the veterans and invited guests  who were present at the Triennial Delegates Conference.
She enjoined the NAWOJIANS delegates to pay attention to various lectures and emulate the message being passed to them for the progress of the association.
