Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 156 New Cases, Total 64,884

Ten states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja were infected with 156 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday 13th November 2020.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced on its twitter handle yesterday that it detected the 156 cases in the following areas: Lagos 70, FCT 22, Kaduna 18, Rivers 15, Plateau 11, Ogun 10, Bauchi 3, Katsina 3, Kano 2, Ekiti 1 and Osun 1.
As of 11.42 p.m. on 13th November 2020 Nigeria had been infested with a total of 64,884 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic since the index case was reported in the country.
Out of the total, 60,936 COVID-19-positive patients had been treated and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,163 people who tested positive to the worldwide virus had died in Nigeria during the period under review, NCDC said.
One person was killed by the disease in Nigeria on Friday.
