Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 212 New Cases, Total 64,728

In Nigeria, 212 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) infection spread across sixteen states and the Federal Capital Territory FCT Abuja on Thursday November 12, 2020.
The following names were listed by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) as having been affected by the pandemic on Thursday: Lagos 71, Imo 26, Plateau 26, FCT 19, Ondo 17, Kaduna 14, Rivers 9, Oyo 9, Katsina 6, Osun 4, Bauchi 2, Ekiti 2, Nasarawa 2, Ogun 2, Kano 1, Kwara 1 and Taraba 1.
As of 11.14 p.m. on 12th November 2020 Nigeria had recorded 64,728 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the index case occurred in the country.
Out of the total, 60,790 people have been treated of the worldwide virus and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,162 deaths arising from the disease had been reported in the country during the period under review.
The ailment did not kill anyone in Nigeria on Thursday.
