Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced on its twitter account that it found 180 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in eight state governments and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Wednesday.
NCDC said the following were infected with COVID-19 pandemic yesterday: Lagos 74, Oyo 41, FCT 19, Kaduna 19, Bauchi 12, Ogun 7, Rivers 4, Cross River 2 and Edo 2
As of 11.20 p.m. on Wednesday 11th November 2020 Nigeria had been infested with a total of 64,516 cases of COVID-19 since the index case was reported in the country.
Out of the total, 60,737 patients afflicted with the global disease had been treated and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,162 people had died of the pandemic in the nation during the period under review, according to NCDC.
The virus killed two persons in Nigeria on Wednesday.
