The chairman of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), in the South South geopolitical zone, Alhaji Musa Saidu, has called on the federal government to as a matter of urgency, provide palliatives to Northerners in the zone who were victims of IPOB attacks.
Speaking to newsman in Kaduna, Alhaji Musa Saidu condemned the attacks by IPOB on northerners, saying that the victims need urgent assistance to alleviate their sufferings.
He said the attacks to innocent northerners is unwarranted and called on security operatives to prosecute the perpetrators.
The ACF chairman in the south south zone described as false and baseless report by an online media quoting one Alh Ibrahim Tukur TudunWada who is parading himself as the chairman of ACF in Rivers State.
He said the publication is false because the person who is claiming to be the chairman of ACF in the state Alh Ibrahim Tukur TudunWada is not even residing in the state and so has no moral justification to speak for northerners in the state.
Alhaji M Saidu said all the claims in the report were false particularly the thirty people he claimed to have been killed.
He added that it’s was himself and other God fearing northerners who buried the hausas killed by IPOB in port harcourt, stressing that he Alh TudunWada was not there when the incident happened.
Alhaji M Saidu therefore warned Alhaji Tudunwada to stop parading himself as the chairman of ACF thereby taking unnecessary credit to himself and also advised the public to disregard the publication.
Alh Musa Saidu also advised ACF Headquarters in K to come to Port Harcourt to substantiate the genuine chairman of the forum in the state that was elected by the people.
He said Alhaji Ibrahim Tukur Tudunwada was not elected and so cannot be the chairman of ACF in Rivers state while advising ACF Headquarters to please take note to avoid causing misunderstanding.
