*Oyo govt will get him freed – Makinde

Suspected gunmen on Sunday night kidnapped the Chairman, Iganna Local Community Development Area (LCDA) in Oyo State, Hon. Jacob Olayiwola and his driver.
Already, the kidnappers were said to be demanding for N200million ransom for the release of the Chairman and his driver
New Nigerian gathered that the Chairman was kidnapped by the suspected gunmen along Okeho-Ado Awaye – Abeokuta road while on his way to Ibadan for a meeting with Governor Seyi Makinde on Monday.
Sources close to the Chairman hinted that the kidnappers have contacted the family of the Chairman demanding N200million ransom to secure his release from their custody
The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), SP Gbenga Fadeyi while confirming the story said men of the command are already on the trail of the suspected kidnappers.
Commenting on the kidnapping, Governor Seyi Makinde during a security stakeholders meeting in Ibadan on Monday expressed sadness at the news of the kidnap of the LCDA Chairman, vowing that government will do everything within its power to get him freed.
