The Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli has called on the people of Zazzau Emirate and Kaduna State to embrace peace and avoid any acts that will lead to breakdown of law and order in the state and Nigeria.
He made the call at a media briefing in his palace as a result of the current happening of youth protest and looting public and private property in some parts of Kaduna State.
Emir Ahmed Bamalli said, looting government and public property is not in their character and is against the teachings of their religion and culture.
The monarch called on parents to caution their children to avoid any acts that will lead to the breakdown of law and order in the state.
According to him, Zazzua Emirate and indeed Kaduna State people are law abiding citizens as commended for restricting themselves from violent protests that happened in some parts of the country.
Ambassador Bamalli described the action of the youth on the END-SARS protest as worrisome and disappointing, advised youths to be law abiding and respect constitutional law and order.
The emir applauded the Kaduna State Government’ for taking quick response by imposing curfew on the state in order to avert the escalating looting of property.
