Bye-election: Zamfara APC Kicks Off Campaign In Grand Style, Urges Supporters To Remain Law Abiding



The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has kicked off campaign for the  Bakura State Constituency Bye election slated for 31st October in grand style.
Speaking at the campaign ground, APC state chairman, Alhaji Lawal Muhammad Liman urges the party faithfuls to remain law abiding and avoid anything that could cause violence before, during and after the election.
“We are calling on you to come out enmass and vote for the APC on October 31st to confirm that we are the party of the people of Zamfara state,” he said.

Liman commended the party supporters for their unflinching support to the party and therefore tasked them to remain resolute despite all odds.
The APC chairman described the party’s candidate, Alhaji Bello Dankande Gamji as grassroots politician who will be a good representative of Bakura local government constituency in the state assembly.
Liman said people of Bakura local government area can attest to the sterling qualities of Dankande Gamji because of his enviable records when he served as the chairman of the council on many occasions and also when he was a state commissioner during the previous administration.
“Dankande Gamji is a man of honour who enjoys the support of you his people because he has served you in different spheres and did marvellously well, therefore go out enmass to vote for him on 31st October,” he said.
In his remark, Dankande Gamji thanked the party’s leadership for supporting his candidature and promised to continue to work for the development of Bakura local government area and the state in whatever position he finds himself.
“APC is a party for the people and I will hold firm the principle of the party to bring about sustainable development in the state,” he assures.
Thousands of APC members and supporters across the state trooped to Bakura town headquarters of Bakura local government area to witness the grand commencement of the party’s electioneering campaign for the October 31st bye election.
