Acting Director of Corporate Communications, Central Bank of Nigeria, Osita Nwasinobi has expressed satisfaction with the just concluded CBN Junior Tennis Championship organised by International Tennis Academy in Lagos.
Nwasinobi who represented the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefile at the event, noted that the apex bank is impressed with the efforts the academy is making to develop tennis at the grassroots even as he stated that the bank is happy to partner them.
” I’m happy with the performance of the junior players and I have no doubt in my mind that very soon they will graduate to the senior team and be positioned to bring glory to the country like their predecessors.
” It’s equally important to commend International Tennis Academy for their efforts over the years at developing talents at the grassroots and the CBN is happy to partner with them. We as the sponsors will continue to give them all the necessary support in order to move the game forward because the purpose of setting up the competition is for it to serve as a grooming ground for the discovering of talents and nurturing them to become champions was on course”, he concluded..
