Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 164 New Cases, Total 60,430

In Nigeria, 164 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) were found in the following fourteen states and the Federal Capital Territory FCT Abuja on Monday:  Lagos 64, FCT 26, Enugu 20, Kaduna 11, Oyo 11, Plateau 8, Ondo 7, Anambra 4, Nasarawa 3, Osun 3, Ebonyi 2, Imo 2, Benue 1, Katsina 1 and Ogun 1.

An update on the pandemic by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) highlighted that as of 11.16 p.m. on Monday 12th October 2020, Nigeria had recorded a total of 60,430 confirmed cases of the worldwide disease.
Out of the total, 51,943 cases had been treated and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while COVID-19-related deaths stood at 1,115.

The virus did not kill anyone in Nigeria on Monday.
