In a statement signed and issued to our correspondent in Kano, the chairman of the group, Malam Lawal Dan Sani said that , ” the group commends the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), for intending to construct an ultra modern hotel-like accommodation for our pilgrims because the globe is now changing in the area of excellent shelter provision”.
He emphasized that the provision of good accommodation is another landmark achievement in order to fully safeguard the pilgrims like what is being seen at other countries where all Hajj camps are given special regards in terms of shelter to feel like they are also at home with every necessary infrastructure.
Similarly, the group commended the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board under the stewardship of Alhaji Mohammed Abba Dambatta and his lieutenants for making every effort towards the success of Hajj related programmes which is a clear indication that the board would become more exemplary among the states pilgrims boards and agencies nationwide.
