The Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has on Wednesday sworn-in the Ag Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad B. Nura as substantial Yobe State Head of Civil Service.
Speaking shortly after the swearing-in ceremony of the key officers, Governor Mai Mala Buni said, the appointment of the Head of the Civil Service and the permanent secretaries was based on merit and called on them to justify the confidence reposed on them and work hard for the development of the state.
Governor Mai Mala Buni explained that his administration is committed to the welfare of civil servants in the areas of prompt payment of salaries, pension, gratuities, training and retraining to ensure smooth running of government activities.
Those sworn-in were Muhammad B. Nura as Head of the Civil Service, Abdulkarim Mai Umar Permanent Secretary Administration and General Services office of the Head of the Civil Service, Garba Bilal, Permanent Secretary Civil Service as well as Abdullahi Muhammad Daura, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Women Affairs.
The occasion took place at the Banquet Hall Government House Damaturu.
