study the vision of his administration and match it against the specific mandate of their boards.
While welcoming the 97 members of Boards and Agencies on board, Abiodun further charged them not to be a burding to the government but must had value to their boards and agencies.

As a matter of fact, the selection process was very competitive and I consider all the distinguished citizens who have scaled the hurdles most fortunate indeed. As the saying goes, “to whom much is given, much is expected”. I, therefore, charge the Chairmen and all members of these new Boards to consider themselves as part of a larger team of visionaries

And, the commitment to discharge of good governance with which our Administration moved through its first year in office can only be further strengthened and the expectation is that every stakeholder should continue to contribute towards the successful implementation of the “Building our Future Together”” Agenda of our Administration.”stated.
“As I congratulate you all for being found worthy to serve in the Boards of our Government’s Agencies and Corporations in our dear State, I must be quick in reminding you that your respective appointments are nothing but testaments to your past records and a challenge to do more in the service of our dear State and humanity
“By virtue of your office, you will need to help initiate positive policies and programmes for the individual prosperity of our people and the continued development of our dear State. In fact, you are coming at a time when your leadership experience will be needed not only in the fight against COVID-19; help cushion the effects of the pandemic on our people; and, chart a course for the effectiveness and efficiency of your various MDAs in the new-normal of post COVID-19”.
Abiodun further advised them to serve to add value and bring more initiatives for good governance to the generality of the people of Ogun State.
” I need to say that, as members of Boards of Government’s Agencies, you are all enjoined to make probity your watchword, and be prudent in the management of both human and material resources under your care. You must, therefore, consider all members of staff as the important catalysts to achieving the greatness of your Boards, in particular, and the set goals of our Administration, in general”
“Already, we have a monitoring and evaluation system in place to qualitatively and quantitatively assess performance in your respective
Agencies. This is being done with a view to recognise excellence, loyalty, creativity, honesty and productivity”Abiodun concluded. .
