His Royal Highness, the Emir of Bichi Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero has inaugurated an experts committee comprising of twenty four emirate personalities drawn from the nine local government areas that makes the emirate.
This was made known in a statement signed by the Secretary Bichi Emirate Council, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Yakasai, made available to our correspondent on Tuesday.
The committee is expected to work hand in hand with Bichi Emirate Council to ensure rapid development in all aspect of human endeavours within the emirate.
At the inaugural meeting of the committee, the Emir stated some of the responsibilities of the committee:Come up with ideas, suggestions and modalities to facilitate the development of the emirate.Use their wealth of experience and connection to bring partnership with various agencies both national and international that will bring quick socio-economic development of the Emirate.

His Royal Highness charged members to come up with various ideas/solutions to support the council in bringing speedy development within the emirate using their wealth of experience and connections both nationally and internationally by inviting private individuals, corporate bodies, institutions and organizations in moving the Emirate forward.On the same vein the emir enumerated some of his achievements since he assume Emirship of the emirate to include and not limited to the following:The officials of the Base University were in Bichi for possible establishment of a branch of the Baze University in Bichi which a land has been given to them at Badume town.
The possibility of collaborating with the Sugar Development Council of Nigeria with an outside company for the establishment of Sugar processing company in Bagwai Local Government Area.
Arrangements have also reached an advance stage for the establishment of (350) Three Hundred and fifty hector length of solar village in the emirate, which will greatly support the establishment, of small and medium scale Enterprises.
The upgrade of Dawanau grains market to the International Standard is also part of the Emir’s plan for the Emirate
The Emir was also in serious dialogue with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture in providing Rural Feeder Roads within the emirate to improve the living standards of the rural populace.
Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero expressed his sincere appreciation to the people of the emirate for their support and understanding extended to him and the Emirate Council since his assumption as the Emir of Bichi.
The Emir further assured the people that his doors would continue to be open to all and sundry for the meaningful development of the emirate.
