Senator Gaya Mourns Shehu Idris, Commiserates With Buhari, el-Rufai, Zazzau Emirates, Entire North

Senator Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya, (APC Kano South) has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden death of  Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris while also commiserating with President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Ahmed Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State, Zazzau Emirate and entire Northern Nigeria over the loss. 

In a statement signed by the federal lawmaker, Senator Gaya said that the news of the death of the royal father was a rude shock and a grievous lost which has created a vacuum that will be hard to fill. 

He added that the late paramount ruler was a peaceful traditional ruler and a true father whose wealth of experience and influence was needed to douse tension among various tribes and religious worshippers in Kaduna and indeed the country at this time that Nigeria was going through p trial times. 

According to the statement, “The late royal father was a peaceful traditional ruler and true father whose wealth of experience is needed now that the country is passing through trial times and his concerted effort on enlightening and giving palliative to subjects as covid 19 rages will be missed by many.”

The Senate Committee chairman on INEC added that the enlightenment of the notable paramount ruler like the late emir was most needed at this time of global pandemic of corona virus and insecurity in the country adding that death has deprived the country of a true patriot and detribilised Nigerian ruler who committed his entire life in working for peace and oneness of the country.

The former Kano State governor enjoined the  president, Governor Ahmed el-Rufai, Zazzau Emirate Council, his immediate family, friends and the North to take solace in the fact that the late royal father lived an exemplary life and remained a leader of integrity in his life time. 
Senator Gaya prayed that the Almighty Allah forgive the late leader his short comings in his life time and grant him aljanatul frdausi.
