In Nigeria, 189 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infected fourteen states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Saturday.
The following names were involved in the attack by the pandemic: Lagos 70, Plateau 37, FCT 24, Kaduna 19, Rivers 12, Oyo 5, Ogun 4, Ebonyi 3, Katsina 3, Ondo 3, Osun 3, Imo 2, Yobe 2, Ekiti 1 and Nasarawa 1.
Information released by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) showed that as of 11.22 p.m. on Saturday 19th September 2020 Nigeria had recorded a total of 57,145 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic.
Out of the total, 48,431 COVID-19-positive patients had been treated and discharged from the country’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,095 people had been killed by the worldwide virus in the nation, NCDC said on its twitter account on Saturday.
