The founder of Kaduna International Film Festival (KADIFF), Israel Kashim Audu has condoled the people of Zazzau and the people of Kaduna State over the death of the Emir of Zazzau HRH. Alhaji Shehu Idris.
The Founder urged the people of Kaduna State, especially those of Zaria Emirate, to take solace in the fact that the departed Emir of Zazzau left good works to his memory.
“He was indeed a man who Supported kaduna International film festival since the maiden edition, gave us his fatherly advise and prayers,” he stated.
The Founder of KADIFF, in a condolence message to the government and people of Kaduna State, said he knows that a unifying figure, a Titan of peace and an exemplar for tolerance will be missed. He was a pillar of transformation and a Bridge between religion, culture and modernity.
“I condole with government and people of Kaduna State over the passing of Emir of Zazzau, urging them to find solace in his good works during his sojourn on earth, particularly for indigenes.
“ I commiserate with family members, friends and associates of the traditional ruler, who served the country extensively as a public servant.
“ I join the Kaduna Traditional Council in mourning the deceased, knowing that his wise contributions will be sorely missed.
“He prays that the almighty God will receive the soul of the departed, and comfort the family he left behind.
“Continue to rest with the Lord HRH. Alhaji Shehu Idris,” it stated.
