VGN Arrests Two For Stealing Tricyles Tyres

The Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN), Jalingo Local Government Area Command in Taraba State has apprehended two boys for stealing nine tricycles known as KEKE NAPEP tyres.


The suspects are Salisu Abubakar, 19 and Musa Umar (18 year old) stole the tires at Unguwan Rubi in Jalingo local government area of the state.


In a video clip made available to our Correspondent by the Jalingo local government Commander of the VGN through a WhatsApp Munir Bello, during an interrogation the two suspects admitted to have committed the crime.


According to Bello, the suspects who are also commercial tricycle’s riders removed the tires from various tricycles that where parked in the area.


However, Munir Bello appealed to the general public for more support and cooperation for his members and reiterated their commitment toward assisting security agents in protecting lives and property of the society. 


Investigation by our Correspondent revealed that the nine stolen tyres are amounting to about N90,000. 


Meanwhile, the suspects have been handed over to the Police (SARS) for proper investigation.
