IMAN ABUTH/ABU Organizes Orientation Programme For New Staff

The Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria (IMAN) ABUTH/ABU Zaria has organized an orientation programme for the newly employed staff of the hospital.
Speaking at the event, the Director of Administration  Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Shika, Zaria, Alhaji Abdulraheem Sallau  charged the newly employed staff to strictly adhere to rules and regulations as contained in the condition of service .
Sallau said as true Muslims they should endeavor to be loyal, respectful to the constituted authority in the hospital while at their various assigned duties.
The Director also warned them not to allow themselves to be found wanting and to always remain committed as directed by their superior officers.
He said the newly employed staff should count themselves lucky among many that applied for the job they were succesful at.
In his presentation on Conduct of Muslim Healthcare Workers to Patients and their colleagues, Dr. Sufyan Ibrahim charged them to be very patient and  friendly with patients.
He also advised them not to allow personal interests overshadow while on duty, particularly with patients and colleagues.
Also in his remarks, the Secretary General of the Association, Dr. Muhammad M. Yakubu said the orientation programme is part of the IMAN’s projects in serving humanity.
He advised both new and old staff to contribute towards sustaining the association’s programmes.
In his remarks, Dr.Abdurrazaq Ayuba reminded them of the importance attached to their commitment to duty and to avoid being absentees without good reasons.
He congratulated the newly employed staff and hoped that they will serve very well as expected in which the hospital will be proud with them.
