Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 197 New Cases, Total 55,829

In Nigeria, Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic infected twelve states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Thursday.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said the following areas were attached by the worldwide disease: Plateau 83, Lagos 48, Kaduna 17, FCT 16, Ogun 11, Katsina 7, Imo 4, Edo 3, Nasarawa 3, Rivers 2, Bayelsa 1, Oyo 1 and Osun 1.
NCDC wrote on its twitter platform that as of 10.54 p.m. on Thursday 10th September 2020, a total of 55,829 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria.

It stated that out of the total, 43,810 positive cases of virus were treated and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,075 deaths caused by the disease occurred in the nation since the index case was reported in the country.
