As the examination time is past approaching, staff of NBAIS working at the operation centre including their heads of departments, have reported for their normal duty but they met the centre closed.

Our correspondent who visited the centre reports that all the staff who reported for duty were stranded outside following the refusal of the ABU management to comply with the earlier directives given by the Minister a week ago.

Speaking on the issue, the Acting Registrar of the Board, Professor Muhammad Shafi’u Abdullahi expressed surprise over the actions of the university for refusing to comply with their Minister’s directive on the matter.

Shafi’u Abdullahi  further said, he didn’t expect such action from the university because it is between a mother and a child while the father intervened.

When contacted, the Acting Director Public Affairs Directorate ABU, Auwalu Umar said the Annex would be handed over to the board by Tuesday or Wednesday this week when documents and other office items belonging to the Institute of Education were finally evacuated.
