Global Peace Foundation Nigeria (GPFN), has appealed to Southern Kaduna youth not to allow bandits to divide them resulting to the loss of lives and destruction of property.
The youths in the area have been admonished to work together with all inrespective of tribal or religious differences so that they may live as members of One Family Under God.
Recall that Southern Kaduna of recent have suffered many attacks from unknown gun men or bandi6t that led to the loss of lives and destruction of properties in that area.
The Global Peace Foundation Nigeria, through their lead volunteers in kanikon have been sanitizing the people on the need to live in peace with one another in order to avoid the escalation of violence in the area.
The GPFN Country Director, Rev John Joseph Hayab, met with over 70 selected youth leaders from different communities in Southern Kaduna at Takau where he appealed to them to work for peace among themselves for their development.
He advised, “Those killing your brothers, sisters, parents and neighbours are enemies of humanity not just enemies of a tribe or religion.You must join hands with every peace loving person even if he is not your tribe or religion to defeat this faceless enemies.
“Do not allow them to divide you or make you hate anyone. There are good people in every tribe and every religion and so these good people must try to work with each others and work together for the peaceful coexistence of the community.
“Any society or community in conflict expose herself to evil people who will always come around to take advantage of her painful situation.”
The youth leaders in their separate submissions promised to work together to expose any evil person among them. They appreciated Global Peace Foundation Nigeria for helping them see the need to work together as members of One Family Under God.
The youths agreed to always cross-check every rumour and never allow conflict entrepreneurs to use any slightest opportunity to further divide them.
