Human Rights Network Working To Bring Justice At All Levels – Kano Director



The  Kano State Executive Director of Human Rights Network (HRN), Comrade A.A. Haruna Ayagi has disclosed that they are working selflessly to ensure that fair treatment is given to citizens whenever there is an offense that attracts judgment.

He made this known in an interview with our correspondent in his office, where he explained that HRN is a non-governmental organisation that covers the nation under the umbrella of the Human rights watch in partnership with over 3000 NGO’s for better services.

Comrade Ayagi noted that at most times, human rights are being tempered with because majority of the citizens are voiceless and helpless in fighting for their rights where they intervene, reconcile and restore glory between the two sides.

Commenting on their relationship with  the security agencies and other related organisations, the executive director announced that, “we have a good working relationship with Police, Army, Immigration, Customs, DSS, Correctional centres and other related organisations, where we are working in good terms to ensure that every citizen is given his right at all levels,” he stressed.

Comrade A.A.Haruna Ayagi stated that HRN is also working hand-in-hand with all the agencies and commissions like Public Complaints Commission, Hisbah Board, Kano Public Complaints, anti-curruption agency, NAPTIP, Civil Defence, and other related organisations that share the same issues with human rights.

In conclusion, the executive director called on the general public to channel their grievances and complaints  to the Human Rights Network and assured that they would continue to enlighten the general public  at urban and eural areaa about their activities, mission ànd  the reaaon for the establishment of the Network.

He announced that HRN has its members in all the 44 local government areas of Kano State.
