COVID-19: Let’s Support Physically Challenged, Vulnerable In Society – Mrs Fagunwa

The Founder and CEO of “You Are Great” Initiative Mrs Oluremi Fagunwa has called on well meaning Nigerians to support the vulnerable in the society mostly those with disabilities at this period of COVID-19
Mrs Fagunwa made the call  in Ibadan while giving support to a member of the Association of Vulnerable and Orphanages.
According to the Founder and CEO of “You are Great”, there is no doubt in the fact that the vulnerable at this particular period when the world is still battling with  COVID-19 and poverty needs support 
She stressed that based on this,  there is the need for the well to do in the society to rise up and give them support and encouragement, adding that government alone cannot do hence the need for well meaning Nigerians to give the needed support, so that they also can be better catered for in the society. 
Mrs Fagunwa maintained that  the visit to Ibadan was also to mark the 3rd year anniversary of the organisation as well as an AGM to discuss ways of garnering more support for the less privileged in the society.

Receiving the support which included matress, toiletries, food stuffs and provisions,  founder of Kingdom Cornerstone Orphanage home, Mr Ajayi Kolade emphasized the need for for stakeholders to protect the future of children in the country .
Mr Kolade lamented that it was unfortunate that many homes face alot of challenges on how to cater for the children during the pandemic , adding that the time for the well meaning Nigerian to support the vulnerable groups is now.
Chairman of the Initiative 3rd year anniversary planning committee, Dr Babatunde Oni represented by Mr Olalekan Adeyemi while presenting the support, emphasised on the need to remove children out of the street and create a conducive place of learning for them.

The group  visited and supported many homes across the country, identify their needs on request and do a quarterly support for them.
