Nigeria’s COVID-19 Daily Cases Crashes To 460, Total 30,249

On Wednesday, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) detected 460 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) in twenty states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.

Here is the list of the places where the virus spread across Nigeria on Wednesday: Lagos 150, Rivers 49, Oyo 43, Delta 38, FCT 26, Anambra 20, Kano 20, Plateau 18, Edo 14, Bayelsa 13, Enugu 13, Osun 12, Kwara 10, Borno 8, Ogun 7, Kaduna 6, Imo 4, Bauchi 3, Gombe 3, Niger 2 and Adamawa 1.

NCDC announced on its twitter account that as of 11.53 p.m. on Wednesday, 8th July 2020 it had recorded a total of 30,249 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria since the index case was reported in the country.
According to the national disease control agency, 12,373 people who contracted the worldwide plague had been treated and discharged from the nation’s isolation centres, while 684 persons infected by the pestilence died.
