Ibadan Indigenes In US Condole Makinde, Oyo State Over Ajimobi’s Demise

National Executive Council (IDU USA NEC) and members of Ibadan Descendants’ Union, United States of America (IDU) USA on Sunday consoled  Governor, Seyi Makinde, the people of Oyo state on the death of the immediate past governor of the state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
IDU in a statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer of the Union, Ade Oyejobi, also commiserated with the family of the former governor over the death of Senator Ajimobi
Ibadan Descendants Union emphasized that Senator Ajimobi will be remembered for his passion for infrastructural development of Oyo State. 
According to IDU USA USA, National President Dr Olubunmi Afonja, “Senator Ajimobi’s family and the people of Oyo State are in our prayerful thoughts at this time. May his soul rest in peace”.
The Ibadan Descendants’ Union, USA is an organization of sons and daughters of Ibadan based in the United States. The mission of the organization is to work with philanthropists in Ibadan and Oyo State for the development of Ibadanland in particular and Oyo State in general.
