*COViD 19 patient delivers baby at Infectious centre

Chairman of Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force, Governor Seyi Makinde on Saturday said the state has recorded 19 new positive cases and two deaths.
The governor in an update on the CoronaVirus pandemic in Oyo State posted on his Twitter handle page also stated that a COVID 19 positive patient in the state has been delivered of baby at the Infectious Disease Centre at Olodo, Ibadan.
Engineer Makinde in the update stressed that the 19 new cases, were recorded 10 of the local governments in the state namely “Ibadan South East (3), Ibadan North (3), Akinyele (3), Lagelu (2), Oluyole (2), Ibadan North West (2), Egbeda (1), Ido (1), Ona Ara (1) and Oyo East (1) Local Government Areas.
“The COVID-19 confirmation tests for nineteen suspected cases came back POSITIVE. The cases are from Ibadan South East (3), Ibadan North (3), Akinyele (3), Lagelu (2), Oluyole (2), Ibadan North West (2), Egbeda (1), Ido (1), Ona Ara (1) and Oyo East (1) Local Government Areas.”, he said.
Speaking on the baby , the governor pointed out that the new born baby and the mother are presently doing well at the Olodo infectious centre , saying, “we had our first COVID-19 patient delivery at the Infectious Disease Centre, Olodo. Mother and baby are doing well.”
“Sadly, we had two COVID-19 related deaths. So, the total number of deaths in Oyo State is fourteen”.
