Oyo State Records 66 New CoronaVirus Positive Cases, One Death, Discharges 180 Patients

Governor Seyi Makinde and Chairman of the Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force on Tuesday morning disclosed that the state has recorded 66 new CoronaVirus positive cases.
The governor also hinted that the Oyo state COVID-19 Task Force has discharged 180 COVID-19 cases after receiving their second negative test results.
Disclosing these on his Twitter handle in the latest COVID 19 update in Oyo state, the  Chairman of the Task Force said the state also recorded one COVID-19 related death making the number of deaths so far recorded in the state to be 
The Twitter message reads, 180 confirmed COVID-19 cases received their second negative test results and have been discharged. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to 688″..The governor stressed, “also, the COVID-19 confirmation tests for sixty-six suspected cases came back POSITIVE.Sadly, we had one COVID-19 related death. So, the total number of deaths in Oyo State is twelve”.
Governor Makinde again urged the people of Oyo state to “please keep following the guidelines of the COVID-19 Task Force to ensure that we slow down the spread of coronavirus in our state”, saying, ” wash your hands regularly with soap and water, wear face masks in public places and maintain proper social distancing”.
