Nigeria’s COVID-19 New Cases Shoot Up To 553, Total 9,855

The latest report by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) is that the Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN) recorded 553 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) on Saturday.

NCDC’s breakdown of the worldwide pestilence as it affected the states of the country and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja is as follow: Lagos 378, FCT Abuja 52, Delta 23, Edo 22, Rivers 14, Ogun 13, Kaduna 12, Kano 9, Borno 7, Katsina 6, Jigawa 5, Oyo 5, Yobe 3, Plateau 3 and Osun 1.

The Nigerian disease control agency said on Twitter that as of 11.55 p.m. on Saturday, 30th May, 2020, Nigeria has recorded a total of 9,855 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic.
According to NCDC, out of the total cases, 2,856 have been discharged from isolation centres while 273 have died.
