Ganduje’s Second Tenure Restored Democratic Practice In Kano State -Stakeholders

Governor Abdullahi Umar  Ganduje’s second term in office has restored  real democratic practice in the Kano State through political restructuring that is benefiting Kano citizens in every sector and at both rural and urban areas that indicate the state is rapidly becoming an exemplary one in Nigeria.


This was expressed by some stakeholders that had a chat with our correspondent on the anniversary  of Ganduje’s second term’s  first year, held Friday May 29, 2020 across the country, where some achievements of the state governors were showcased in low key ceremonies.


Speaking to New  Nigerian, the executive chairman of Gwarzo Local Government Council, Engineer Bashir Abdullahi Kutama  MNSE, described Governor Gansuje as an achiever who is working selflessly to ensure that Kano remains the best state in every sector especially at present when the issue of COVID-19 is retarding activities that are directly related to human endeavour.


Engineer Bashir  Kutama added that “Kano State is rapidly developing, and our dynamic governor is trying his utmost best in transforming the state without any differences which shows that in the near future, Kano would become more progressive with economic and social wellbeing as seen from 2015 to date under Ganduje’s satisfactory stewardship,” he submitted.


In his remarks,  the  member representing Makoda Local Government at the Kano State House of Assembly, who is also the Deputy Speaker of the noble House, Honourable Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari stressed that Governor Ganduje is an exemplary leader who is trying his best towards the development of Kano State in accordance with the democratic practice by executing very meaningful projects that benefit his people.


He re-assured that the relationship between the executive and legislative arm would continue to be cordial because good relationship between both sides facilitates good governance and institutional cooperation in the implementation of resourceful  government’s  policies in accordance with the democratic governance  in the state.


The Deputy Speaker called on the people of Kano State to be more supportive to the Ganduje’s administration  in order to benefit more from his administrations continued projects executions and prayed that the  gentle souls of those who died as a result of COVID-19 pandemic rest in peace while those that were tested positive would recover speedily.
