Nigeria’s COVID-19 Daily Tally Drops, 182 New Cases Recorded, Total 8,915

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported that Nigeria recorded 182 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Thursday.

NCDC’s detailed account of how the global pandemic occurred in the States of the country yesterday disclosed that Lagos has continued to rank highest in figure with 111, FCT Abuja 16, Akwa Ibom 10, Oyo 8, Kaduna 6, Delta 6, Rivers 5, Ogun 4, Ebonyi 4, Kano 3, Plateau 2, Gombe 2, Kebbi 1, Kwara 2, Bauchi 1 and Borno 1.
The Nigerian disease control agency said on Twitter that as of 11.27 p.m. on Thursday, 28th May, 2020 a total of 8,915 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Nigeria, that 2,592 cases of the overall figure have been discharged, and that 259 cases have died.
