Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has issued a strong warning to the general public against illegal reconnection and other related offenses in all it’s catchment areas across Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states and vowed to prosecute erring consumers that violate the company’s power supply regulations.
This was announced by the company’s head of corporate communication, Ibrahim Sani Shawai in a statement that he signed and issued to newsmen.
The company assured that it is also working out more strategies to ensure that the consumers across Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states continue to enjoy constant power supply respectively.
Furthermore, KEDCO enjoined itd teaming customers to always pay their bills in accordance with the company’s regulations to ensure excellent services, warning that those who are disconnected because they cannot afford to pay bills should desist from illegal reconnection which is an offence subject to severe punishment in accordance with the company’s rules and regulations.
The statement assured that Kano Electric is trying it’s best to ensure that Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states continue to enjoy constant power supply and called for regular payment of electricity bills and report any suspicious activities that may lead to power failure.
